Air Jordan 9

Just in time for All-Star weekend, Jordan releases the Air Jordan 9 "UNC". With the game taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina it was only right for the sneaker to rep University Blue and Midnight Navy to pay homage to the Tar Heels. Whether you're a fan of the team or not, this Retro 9 is a must cop.
The color combo and use of patent leather is reminiscent of the 9 "Low Pearl" that dropped 17 years ago in 2002. For those of us who remember that release, you already know the hype and popularity that surrounded the sneaker so if you missed out then, don't make the same mistake this time around. Interest has been building in the week leading up to the official release day of Saturday, February 9th and it looks like this mid top remake will definitely follow in those same foot steps. You don't have to be a student or graduate of UNC to get in on the action. The white and blue color combination is a fresh look regardless of where you're from and will definitely get the attention it deserves.
Jordan never forgets to pay respect to his Carolina roots and whether you'll be at the game, or watching from home make sure you cop your Air Jordan 9 Retro "University Blue" at GBNY.
